Sopore, 16 july 2020: Continuing its sincere efforts against Drug menace in Police District Sopore.
Police Station Sopore during naka checking at main chowk sopore apprehended a notorious drug peddler namely *Muneer Ahmad Bulaki @Munn Bluki S/O Ghulam Nabi Bulaki R/O Batpora Sopore* and recovered *30 bottles of coffy chlorpheniramine maleate Codeine phasphate Syrup 100 Ml* from his possession which he was carrying for distribution among youth.
Similarly, naka was laid at Railway Crossing Seer by a team of Police Station Tarzoo during naka checking apprehended one *Adil Ashraf Khan S/O Mohammad Ashraf Khan R/O Peth Seer Sopore* and recovered *200 tablets of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus* from his possession.
Accordingly cases FIR No. 190/2020 U/S 8/22 NDPS and FIR No. 67/2020 U/S 8/22 NDPS were registered at Police Station Sopore and Police Station Tarzoo and investigation have been set into motion.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Sopore Police will continue its drive against drug menace and request general public of Police District Sopore to come forward and help us to curb this bad evil from the society.
