Srinagar, Mar 29:Police in Anantnag have apprehended three alleged drug peddlers from Banghidhar area of south-Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told news agency GNS that around thirty bottles of Welcyrex (Syrup) was recovered from possession of a trio identified as; Waheed Ahmed Khanday, Abdul Hameed Kumar and Irshad Ahmed Khan.All the accused are residents of Anchidoora area of the district, the official said.
“A case FIR no 55/2021 under section 8/22 NDPS has been registered and further investigations taken up in this regard”, the official added.
