Pattan, July 11 (Kashmir Crown):  The All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association organised massive Majalis-e-Aza, Marsiya recitations, and Zuljanah Sharif processions at Chinabal and Kakerpora, Pattan, on the martyrdom anniversary of the Fourth Holy Imam, Hazrat Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS). Thousands of mourners from different areas participated in the religious gatherings and processions, paying homage to the sacrifices of the family of Imam Hussain (AS).

Addressing the Majlis at Chinabal, President of the All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, spoke in detail about the life and character of Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS). He highlighted how, despite suffering from illness during the tragedy of Karbala, the Fourth Imam (AS) remained steadfast in protecting the divine mission of Imam Hussain (AS). He said that after Ashura, it was Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS), together with Hazrat Bibi Zainab (SA), who preserved and conveyed the message of Karbala through patience, courage, and unwavering faith.

Molvi Imran Ansari also paid tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices of the family of Imam Hussain (AS), particularly Hazrat Bibi Zainab (SA) and Hazrat Bibi Sakina (SA). He spoke about the hardships endured by the Ahlul Bayt (AS) during their journey as captives to Shaam, stating that their endurance ensured that the message of Karbala would continue to inspire humanity across generations.

Later, addressing another Majlis-e-Aza at Kakerpora, Pattan, Molvi Imran Ansari emphasised the spiritual significance of Azadari for Imam Hussain (AS). He said that mourning for Imam Hussain (AS) is a path towards spiritual purification and divine mercy, and that sincere participation in Azadari strengthens one’s faith and brings a believer closer to Allah (SWT). He urged the youth to remain connected with the teachings of Karbala and uphold the values of truth, justice, sacrifice, and humanity exemplified by Imam Hussain (AS).

The religious programmes concluded with Marsiya recitations, Matam, and Zuljanah Sharif processions in which thousands of mourners participated with devotion and discipline.

Molvi Imran Ansari expressed his gratitude to the District Administration, and all other concerned departments for their support and cooperation in ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of the programmes.
