Kashmir Crown | A delegation representing the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Baramulla Er Rasheed, led by the Firdous Baba PA/PS to the Hon’ble MP, called on the Chief Engineer, PMGSY, today to discuss a range of pressing road infrastructure issues affecting various parts of Baramulla Parliament Constituency.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted the urgent need for the timely execution and completion of several road projects that are of immense public importance. Particular emphasis was laid on the long-pending Tangmarg–Sheikhpora Road, a project that holds significant importance for thousands of residents and commuters who have been facing considerable inconvenience due to the incomplete stretch.
The Chief Engineer gave a patient hearing to all the issues raised by the delegation and assured that the under construction projects including remaining portion of the Tangmarg–Sheikhpora Road shall be taken up for execution immediately after the Charchol issue is resolved. He further reaffirmed the department’s commitment to ensuring the early completion of the project in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Engineer for his positive response and reiterated that the Hon’ble Member of Parliament remains steadfast in his commitment to pursuing developmental initiatives and ensuring that the genuine aspirations of the people of Baramulla are effectively represented before the concerned authorities. The office of the Hon’ble MP will continue to closely monitor the progress of the project until its successful completion in the larger public interest.
