Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) on Thursday late evening claimed grenade attack on forces in south Kashmir’s Shopian district saying that two personnel were killed and 6 critically injured.
A JeM spokesperson Mohammad Hassan in a statement issued to GNS said the outfit’s men attacked the forces’ naka party at Hall, Shopian.
He said the grenade blasted in the centre and two forces personnel died on the spot while six others have been critically injured.
The attack was in revenge for the slain commander Nasir Khan alias Abdul Rehman, the spokesperson said. (GNS)
