Concerned R&B Department in deep Slumber

Karnah, Sep 07: Substandard material is allegedly being used in construction of a bunker under R&B Department at a cost of Approx. 10 lakh at Gabra village in karnah Sub division.
The contractor concerned started the RCC Bunker construction work few days back and already completed 40 percent of the work.
On 07 September, locals protested against use of low quality Sand and Bajri and substandard materials and requested the Authority to stop the construction work of bunker.
“We protested strongly against use of substandard and less quantity materials, but the Concerned R&B department didn’t pay heed,” said Sajid Hossain, 28, a resident of Gabra village.
Meanwhile, when Kashmir Crown Contacted executive Engineer R&B Manzoor Ahmad He said that we already Stoped this Work until further order and also added that the Concerned department take Strict Action Against the Said Contractor if he involved in Said Activity.
