Pattan, 24 July: To Continue its Crackdown against drug Mafia today Pattan Police arrested another Notorious drug supplier along with codine at Zangam village of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District
Police Sources told that during a naka checking pattan Police apprehended one notorious drug peddler identified as Nazir Ahmad Bhat R/O Buran Pattan and recovered 11 Bottles of Codine from his possession.
Accordingly a Case FIR No 188 /2020 U/S 8/21 NDPS act has been registered in Police Station Pattan and the further investigation has been started.
Meanwhile locals and Civil Societies of Sherpora, Zangam & Buran villages have once again appreciated the efforts of SDPO Pattan Shri Zafar Mehdi and SHO pattan Insp Nisar Ahamd for their efforts against Drug Mafia.
It is pertained to mention here that with the help of civil societies and Masjid Committees since few months Pattan Police have arrested half dozen notorious drug peddlers from different area of pattan town and has recovered large quantity of Charas and Codine from their possession for which they have highly appreciated by Civil Society.
