Pattan,Sep 13: Government forces on Sunday Evening launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Palhallan village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials told Kashmir Crown , that a joint team of Army’s 29RR , and Special Operation Group (SOG) of police and CRPF laid a siege at Mukhdam Mohalla Palhallan village of Pattan Sub Division on late Sunday evening.
A police officer said that the Cordon and Search Operation was launched following inputs about the movement of some suspected militants.
All the entry and exit points of the area were sealed by Government forces.
However, search operation was going on when this report was filed.
