Discrimination and Inequality in Constable Post Allocations

The recent release of 3,478 constable posts has highlighted a concerning disparity between the Jammu and Kashmir divisions. Out of the total posts, Jammu received 2,381 positions, while Kashmir received only 1,097. This imbalance not only reflects a systemic issue but also raises questions about fairness and representation.

When discrimination takes root, it not only undermines justice but also fosters division and can lead to increased social unrest. The disparity in these allocations poses a threat to the unity and integrity of our state, impacting not just employment opportunities but also the overall dignity and empowerment of the people of Kashmir.

It is crucial that we address these inequities and ensure that every region is represented fairly. Unity, justice, and adherence to the rule of law are foundational to a thriving, harmonious society. JAMMU DIVISION.
