Seize cell phones confiscate bank statement
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in the house of a businessman here in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Sources told Local News Agency KNT that sleuths of NIA along with local police raided the house of a businessman who is also a hotelier at Nigeen Srinagar.
The team during the search operation reportedly confiscated cell phones and bank statements from the house. It was not clear why the raid was conducted but unconfirmed sources said that this raid was conducted to look for financial links vis-a-vis the DSP Davinder Singh case.
The development comes almost a month after the NIA filed a charge sheet against six persons, including suspended Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Superintendent of Police, in a special NIA court in Jammu.
