Kupwara, Jul 17: An 8-year-old boy was injured in a dog bite incident here in Zangli area of the district on Friday afternoon.
The minor identified as Umar Arif Lone son of Arif Ahmad Lone was attacked by a dog outside his house.
In the incident, the boy received injuries in his head and both arms, reports said.
The boy was evacuated to SDH Kupwara and was discharged later in the evening after receiving treatment, reports added.
