SHOPIAN, AUGUST 27: District Development Commissioner Shopian, Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin today called for cent percent saturation of all beneficiary oriented schemes in all the blocks of district.
During the meeting the DDC highlighted the successful implementation of centrally sponsored welfare schemes and also took review of developmental works undertaken under Back to Village Programme.
The DDC underscored the need to further the reach of scholarships under Ministry of Minority Affairs like Pre-Matric and Post- Matric Scholarships and directed the concerned officers to complete all necessary verifications in this regard within stipulated time.
While taking review of ongoing works in the district and achievements and targets the DDC directed the officers to expedite their men and machinery to achieve the targets within the stipulated time.
He asked the concerned executing agencies to complete projects in time bound manner and cautioned the concerned against any laxity towards timely completion of all developmental works.
At the outset department of agriculture, horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Rural Development Department, R&B ,PHE and other departments gave a detailed report with regard to ongoing developmental works and centrally sponsored schemes like JJM, KCC in the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Joint Director Planning and the concerned officers and other officials attended the meeting.
