Rajouri: Dr. M.L. Rana, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Rajouri, today conducted a surprise visit to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Darhal to evaluate the quality of healthcare services being provided to the local population. The inspection was part of a broader initiative under the leadership of Dr. Sayed Abid Rasheed Shah, IAS, Administrative Secretary of Health and Medical Education, Jammu and Kashmir UT, and Sh. Abhishek Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri. After this initial assessment, he conducted a thorough round of the hospital, visiting key sections such as the emergency ward, hospital wards, the outpatient department (OPD), labor room, operation theatre, laboratory, X-ray, and ECG sections. He wanted to understand firsthand the level of care and attention patients were receiving, ensuring that the hospital was meeting their healthcare needs.
