Both Crime branch headquarters closed since July 19 : Sources
Senior Police officer of Jammu and Kashmir Crime Branch headquarters Srinagar tests positive for Covid-19 some three days ago after which both the headquarters of CB have been closed, official sources said.
Reliable sources told news agency Kashmir dot Com-(KDC) that days before a senior officer of crime branch tested positive for Covid-19 pathogen after which administration closed both headquarters. Since than both the offices are continue to remain closed.
An officer from Crime Kashmir while confirming the development told KDC that we have been directed not to come offices till results of our tests came.
Meanwhile, thirty (30) samples have been taken for Covid-19 testing from both the quarters whose reports are still awaited.
Sources further told that all employees who had contact with the senior officer will quarantined for further instructions and both the headquarters will be cleaned and sanitized .
“We will monitor the situation and work closely with health officials to reopen the headquarters. Once we have verified a safe and healthy environment we will reopen it .” sources added.
