Bandipora : A 26 year old girl on Wednesday evening committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance at her home in Ahimsharif area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
A health official while confirming the incident said that the girl (name with held) was a resident of Ahimsharif village was brought to hospital as she had consumed some poisonous substance.
However, doctors at Bandipora district hospital declared her as brought dead while the reason for the suicide was not immediately known.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigations have been initiated in this regard.
