Around 200 saplings were planted at Ajas, Khuihama and Ninglee Ranges
Bandipora, March 21: On the eve of World Forestry Day celebration Bandipora Forest Division on Sunday conducted plantation drives in different places of the district including Ajas, Khuihama and Ninglee Ranges.
An official said that around 200 Plants/saplings were planted in these forest rannges.
He sad that at Ajas Forest Range plantation drive was launched at Govt. Boys Secondary School Chewa, Girls High School Ajas and Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Ajas in association with 13 RR Manasbal, principals, teachers and locals of the concerned areas.
“In Khuihama Forest Range, around 50 saplings were planted at Panchayat Ghar Ayathmulla with active participation of Panchayat Body, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and locals as well,” he said.
He said that at Range Office Ninglee the plantation drive was launched at Health Centre Shagund in association with the representatives of health department.
