Bandipora, Mar 18:- Army on Thursday recovered a vehicle after it skidded off the road and collided with another vehicle resulting into the damage of duo vehicle in Nabripora area of Bandipora district.
An official said that this morning army’s 14 RR unit recoverd a Vehicle after the tipper of Rashid Rayaz Mir s/o Reyaz Ahmed Mir r/o Ward No.2 , Plan Bandipora skidded off the road and collided with Alto 800 of Rameez Raza s/o Ghulam Mohammad Rather r/o Ward no. 4,Plan Bandipora, he remembered his brothers in uniform for help.
He said that Indian Army also living upto its traditions of “Awaam ka saath” promptely honored the request and in a praiseworthy manner wherein the Jawans of 14 RR worked shoulder to shoulder with the Awaam of Bandipora and the recovery of both the vehicles was carried out by Kharpora Camp, 14 RR.
Meanwhile, the locals commended the efforts of the Army and also thanked them for their unflinching support in such time of need
