Bandipora, July 05: The residents of Watrina village of north kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday afternoon thanked the 27 RR army of the area when they pulled a car out of the canal which met with an accident and fell into canal.
An official said that, the vehicle bearing registration Number JK 15 4588 was parked at a raking position next to the canal and it fell down accidentally into the canal at watrina village of the district. However, no one was in the car at the time.
Soon after the incident locals rushed to the spot and they tried to get the vehicle out of the canal But they failed. After which an 27RR army contingent came there and helped people get this vehicle out of the canal and succeeded later without any damage.
Meanwhile, locals in the area later thanked the local army after they rescued a car that had fallen into the river by accident. People in the area say the army has always helped them whenever they have a problem.
Notably, a similar road accident took place in Bathou village a few months ago after which the 14RR army rescued the vehicle there as well.
