Baramulla, Feb 12: In decisive action and on the directions of SSP Baramulla Shri Ab Qayoom and under the supervision of SDPO Uri Junaid Wali and SHO Boniyar , a police party of Police Station Boniyar laid a naka at Children park Boniyar .During naka Police apprehended notorious drug peddler namely Mudasir Ahmad Tantary S/O Lt Farid Ah Tantary Resident of Boniyar A/P Khanpora Baramulla and recovered 67 Bottles of Codeine Phosphate from his possession in this regard an FIR has been registered in PS Boniyar under relevant section of law and further investigation has been initiated.
Its pertinent to mention that the person was a Chronic drug peddler and supplier in the area.
People of the area has hailed the efforts of SDPO Uri.
Meanwhile SDPO Shri Junaid Wali has requested community members to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood.
