Baramulla, August 26 :The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday witnessed get rise in Corona virus death cases and recorded Ten new death cases thus taking the toll to 608.
As per reports ,” Ten patients who died include
eight among the victims were residents of Srinagar while two others belonged to Jammu division.”
“A 70-year-old man from Fateh Kadal Srinagar died at CD hospital ,the septuagenarian was admitted to the hospital on August 19 and died early morning today”, an official from CD hospital said.
Officials from SKIMS Soura said, “A 75-year-old man from Old Barzulla Srinagar who was suffering from multiple ailments died at SKIMS Soura.A 55-year-old resident of Nowhatta Srinagar also died.”
“A 61-year-old woman who was admitted on August 24 died at 5am and her swab was taken for covid-19 which tested positive after her death”,they said.
They added, ” A 65-year-old man from Narbal Budgam died at SKIMS Bemina, 17 days after he was admitted there for having multiple ailments.Other two deaths from the Valley include a 40-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man.”
Officials from SMHS said, ” a 60-year-old woman of Littar Pulwama who was admitted on August 22 as a case of bilateral pneumonia died.”
Sources said, “regarding two deaths from Jammu division one of them was a 70-year-old man from ward 4 of Rajouri town who died at GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri and the other one was a 58-year-old man from Nagbani Jammu who died at GMC hospital Jammu.”
With these deaths 659 people have died in Jammu and Kashmir, 51 from Jammu division and 608 from Valley.
