Tehsildar Conducts Intensive Market Checking In Pattan, Encroachment On Footpaths Removed

Pattan,February 12: On the directions of District Magistrates Baramulla a team of officers headed by Tehsildar Pattan , Dr Sheikh Sala-Ud-Din today conducted market checking at Pattan Area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
The team comprising officials of revenue department, Police and Food Civil Supplies And Consumer Affairs checked various establishments in the market.The inspection team checked the quality, hygiene condition, expiry and rate lists etc of food items and other essential commodities.
During the market checking the vegetables/fruit shops were inspected and the rotten vegetables/fruits/expired items were destroyed on spot.
Besides illegal Encroachment on footpaths were removed and many shopkeepers were fined for overcharging and other violations.
Furthermore Dr Sheikh Sala-ud-din told that General public can approach me directly for any complaint of over pricing and other violations.We are here for our people and are always available for general public.
