Kreeri,January 14: On the directions of District Magistrates Baramulla a team of officers headed by Tehsildar Kreeri, Mubashir Amin today conducted market checking at Kreeri Area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
The team comprising officials of revenue department, Police and Food Civil Supplies And Consumer Affairs checked various establishments in the market.The inspection team checked the quality, hygiene condition, expiry and rate lists etc of food items and other essential commodities.
During the market checking the vegetables/fruit shops were inspected and the rotten vegetables/fruits/expired items were destroyed on spot.
Besides 4 shops were sealed for over pricing and other violations and fine of Rs 5000 was realized from erring shopkeepers and violators on the spot.
Furthermore Tehsildar Kreeri told that General public can approach me directly for any complaint of over pricing and other violations.
