Baramulla , 23 September :Growing population of stray dogs in the watergam town is a big cause of concern for the people here , locals said.
Locals claimed that, dogs bark throughout the night giving sleepless nights to public. We fear to move outside as dogs roam in groups. Especially during morning walk, dogs violently used to attack people moving along the roadside.
“The authorities are doing nothing to check stray dogs risking the lives of people. Children are vulnerable to attacks and we are forced to accompany them every time they go out.Pack of dogs are always wondering around and in the main market of watergam”, they added.
While talking to Kashmir Crown locals of the residence said, “We request municipal authorities to take initiative for the menace of population in stray dogs.”
