Srinagar,5 September:Srinagar Police in its continuous efforts against social crimes, arrested a drug peddler.
On receipt of written complaint from Dy. Drug Controller Drugs & Food Control Organization Kashmir, PS Shaheed gunj seized about 2000 bottles of apparently Codeine Phosphate from Chhota Bazar from one drug peddler namely,
Adil Farooq Rah
S/o Farooq Ahmad Rah
R/o Baghwanpora Barbarshah Srinagar.
In this connection case FIR No.109/20 under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation taken up at PS Shaheed Gunj.
General public has applauded the Police action and Srinagar Police is committed to continue its offensive against the drug peddlers.
