SRINAGAR Dec 11(GNS): Rashtriya Kissan Mazdoor Mahasang (RKMMS) Jammu Kashmir has expressed solidarity and support to farmers’ protests against “anti-farmer agricultural laws” their demand to impose MSP Guarantee law for the farmers.

RKMMS is the largest amalgam of farmer and labour organizations of India, which is presently protesting against “three anti-agriculture farmer bills” all over India including Singhu Border, Palwal, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and other places along with other farmer organizations, the conglomerate’s J&K Chapter said in a statement issued to GNS.

RKMMS Jammu Kashmir UT leaders which include General Secretary Zahoor Ahmed Dar, Kashmir Province Convener Azhar Afzal Rather, Youth President Amanjeet Singh, Youth General Secretary Ravinder Singh Bunty and others, in the statement, said, “Being the J&K Chapter of RKMMS, we extend our full support to farmers protesting at all fronts and appreciate the efforts of all farmers and leaders especially from Punjab, Haryana, MP, UP Rajasthan and other states for their active participation to make the agitation a historical movement.”

We also welcome and support all the programs of our senior leadership, the RKMMS J&K Chapter said, adding, “We urge the Government of India to repeal three anti-farmer laws and make MSP Guarantee law in favour of farmers.”

Moreover, we appeal to all farmers of Jammu and Kashmir that it is time to stand with farmers of the nation. “We must come forward and participate in the protest to make the struggle successful,” the leaders said. (GNS)
