Baramulla:January 23: Today at about 09:30 Pm Police Station Chandoosa recieved a call for assistance from family members of a patient residing at Shirpora area who was in a state of unbearable pain due to heart ailment and because of continuous snowfall and slippery roads it was not possible for them to carry her to Hospital.
In endeavour to safeguard the life of patient a team under the supervision of SSP Baramulla Shri Ab Qayoom led by SHO Chandoosa Ghulam Jeelani reached the said village for help without caring of their own lives despite of inclement weather.
Without losing any time Police party wrapped the patient in a polythene sheet and tied her to a stretcher and then carried her on shoulders, covered around 2 Kilometers by foot from Shirpora to Wahidna and admitted her in hospital.
General public especially the family members of the lady thanked SHO Chandoosa and hailed the efforts put forth in helping them and swiftly carrying their patient to Hospital.
