Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party has condemned the tragic death of a pregnant woman from Swari village at the Government Medical College (GMC) Associated Hospital in Rajouri. The woman lost her life during labor pain, and her family members have alleged negligence on the part of the hospital.

The PDP has demanded a fair and impartial inquiry into the incident, emphasizing that those found guilty must be punished. The party has also called for an audit of the hospital’s functioning to determine the causes of death during treatment and to identify systemic flaws.

“The incident is a stark reminder of the need for improved hospital functioning and accountability of the state administration,” said Spokesperson JKPDP Tazeem Dar. “We demand a thorough investigation into the matter and action against those responsible.”

JKPDP Spokesperson Tazeem Dar has assured the people of Rajouri and surrounding areas that it will take up the matter with the authorities to ensure justice and accountability.
