Vows to Leave No Stone Unturned in Advocating for the Development and Welfare of Sopore Constituency

A youth convention for the Sopore block of the National Conference was held today, with Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Irshad Rasool Kar as the chief guest.
Highlighting Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s efforts and vision to empower youth as agents of change, MLA Kar reiterated his party’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for the youth of the state, especially in his Sopore Constituency, so they may realize their full potential.
He stated that the party would engage extensively with the youth to address the issues they face. Such conventions, he added, would continue to provide a secure and effective platform for young people to contribute to the development and betterment of their constituency.
MLA Kar emphasized that youth can play a vital role in strengthening the party at the grassroots level, which in turn will bring developmental progress to the people.
He described the youth as the bright future of tomorrow and expressed his enthusiasm at seeing young minds actively shaping their destinies. Together, he added, efforts will be intensified for the welfare and development of the Sopore constituency.
MLA Kar vowed to advance infrastructure development in the constituency, assuring that youth would be the primary focus of his future policies. He invited them to become partners in his “Mission Sopore” and promised that tangible change would be evident. He urged the youth to contribute to restoring the lost glory of Sopore, once known as “Chota London.”
He pledged to leave no stone unturned in advocating for the development and welfare of the Sopore constituency. “I remember the valuable time given by each and every worker. I remember the efforts of every single worker; I have forgotten nothing. Every issue will be addressed patiently for the progressive prosperity of Sopore. I will not hold back on any pledge,” he said.
He expressed confidence that in the coming years, the Sopore constituency will achieve significant milestones in terms of development.
MLA Kar noted that promoting education and health would always remain priorities, and serious efforts would also be made to develop sports in the region.
He affirmed, “I will not fall short in standing by my promises. I will always be at the forefront to fulfill every commitment to the people of my Sopore constituency.”
The convention was attended by National Conference senior leader and former Municipal Council President Masrat Rasool Kar, along with all the youth bodies from the Sopore Block .
