Baramulla, Jan 25 : A mother of 3 children was found dead under mysterious conditions in Ladoora area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday late evening.
Officials said that the in-laws of the woman said that she died of an electric shock from a boiler late yesterday night, however, the family members of the women contested their claims.
“Soon after her death, the family members of woman reached the in-laws home of their daughter'” they said.
Officials said that the family members of the deceased woman staged protest demonstration, alleging that their daugther has been murdered by her in-laws.
The protestors demanded transparent probe into the matter.
Meanwhile, medical superintendent District Hospital Baramulla said that they have already followed all the legal proceedings and have initiated a detailed postmortem report.
“Cause of death wasn’t immediately known, however, we are waiting for the forensic Report,” he added
Meanwhile, a senior police official said that they have registered a case under relevant sections of law and the investigation has been taken up to ascertain the facts.
