Baramulla, March 10: Kunzer Police On Wednesday recovered Contraband from an alleged ‘drug peddler in Mughama Kunzer Area Of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
A police official told that a naka was laid under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg Shri Hilal Khaliq And SHO Kunzer Shri Ather Parvaiz At Mughama Krishpora Tangmarg during which one person tried to escape from the Naka but after hectic efforts the said person was arrested by Police Party. During his search Charas like substance about 125 grams was recovered from his possession.
The arrested person was identified as Showkat Ah Ahanger S/o Gh Rasool Ahanger R/o Yaal Pattan.
In this regard case FIR No 16/2021 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Kunzar and Further investigation has been initiated.
SDPO Tangmarg Shri Hilal Khaliq And SHO Kunzer Shri Ather Parvaiz has requested community members to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood
