Kulgam, 03,Nov:Continuing its war against drug menace, Kulgam Police
during intervening night of 02/03 November while checking vehicles on Naka at Killam Kulgam, Police party headed by SI Sandeep Sharma intercepted a Maruti car Alto 800 bearing registration number JK22-7447 with two persons traveling in it. Going through checking of the vehicle and persons, officers were able to recover 09 bottles of *(Codeine Phosphate)* from their possession, whose identity has been ascertained as Mudasir Ahmad Shan S/O Abdul Rehman Shan R/O Nowpora and Shabir Ahmad Shan S/O Mohd Akbar Shan R/O Pati Akhran Nowpora. They have been arrested and Vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized.
In this connection, a case with FIR No. 117/2020 U/S 8/21, 29 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Devsar and further investigation has been initiated.
