Kreeri, Feb 28: In decisive action and on the directions of SSP Baramulla Shri Ab Qayoom and under the supervision of SDPO Kreeri Shri Tariq Mehmood and SHO Kreeri Ather Parvaiz , a police party of Police Station Kreeri laid a naka at Nowpora Kreeri .During naka Police apprenhended notorious drug peddler namely Imran Qayoom Resident of Nowpora Kreeri and recovered 240 grams Of Charas from his possession in this regard an FIR No 11/2021 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Kreeri and further investigation has been initiated.
Its pertinent to mention that Kreeri Police has Already booked two drug peddlers in this month.
People of the area has hailed the efforts of Police Sub Division Kreeri and has requested SSP Baramulla to take strict action against this wanted drug peddler.
Meanwhile SDPO Kreeri Shri Tariq Mehmood and SHO Kreeri has requested community members to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood.
