Srinagar, Jan 7:Jammu and Kashmir reported 127 cases of novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday. Among the, 106 were from Jammu division and 21 from Kashmir Valley.

Officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 5 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 0, Kupwara 5, Pulwama 2, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 0, Shopian 2, Jammu 47, Udhampur 44, Rajouri 5, Doda 3, Kathua 1, Kishtwar 0, Samba 6, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

A number of the cases were confirmed at SKIMS Soura and CD hospital’s diagnostic laboratory.

The CD cases include female (62) and male (67) from NA, male (24) from Brein Nishat Srg, male (36) from SHMS Resident Hostel Srg, female (56) from Naslapura, female (80) from Arindarpora Bandipora, male (56) from Bijbehara Anantnag, female (68) from Gukubazar Srg, female (45) from Uri Baramulla, female (50) from Lolab, female (50) from Narbal, male (30) from Bemina.

SKIMS cases

The Srinagar cases include male (70) from Eidgah, male (84) from Nowpora, female (51) from Lal Bazar Srinagar. The Ganderbal cases include female (48) from Wussan, male (58) from Baderkund Ganderbal.

The Pulwama cases include female (19) from Sangam Pulwama.

The Bandipora cases include female (70) from Hajin Bandipora.

The Doda cases include female (43) from Baderwah Doda.

Moreover, the officials said, 187 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 110 from Jammu Division and 77 from Kashmir.

They said out of 122176 positive cases, 2396 are active positive, 117877 have recovered and 1903 have died—707 in Jammu and 1196 in Kashmir.

Out of 4011893 test results available, they said, 3889717 samples have been tested as negative till date.

“So far 931185 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 28062 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2396 in isolation and 33630 in home surveillance. Besides, 865194 persons have completed their surveillance period,” they added.
