Uri, Feb 06: Hope on Earth Welfare Trust J&K on Saturday successfully organized one-day super specialty medical-cum-awareness camp in north Kashmir’s Boniyar area of Baramulla district.

The camp which was held at Higher Secondary School, Boniyar was attended by officials from health, civil and police departments.

During the day-long medical-cum-awareness camp, over 200 patients were attended by different health experts including Dr Afreen Aziz (Ophthalmologist), Dr Parvaiz Ahmad (Dermatologist), Dr Mushtaq Ahmad (Psychiatrist), Dr Burhan Ahmad (Cardiologist) who is a reputed doctor from Medanta New Delhi) and Dr Rakhshanda Rashid (Gynecologist).

Assistant Superintendent of Police, Baramulla Mukesh Kakkar and was chief guest at the occasion. Those attended the camp included SDPO Uri Junaid Wali, Lieutenant Colonel 6 Para, BMO Boniyar Dr Parviaz Masood, SHO Boniyar Ashiq Ahmad and SHO Bijhama Nisar Ahamad.

Besides given free medicines to patients they were also advised to take utmost care of their health.

Chairman Hope on Earth Nadeem Khwaja Uri thanked all guests and volunteers of the organization for making the camp successful. He said the organization will utilize its every effort for the wellbeing of society and said such camps will remain continue in future as well.
