Firdous Baba, Senior Leader and Spokesperson of Awami Ittehad Party (AIP), has expressed strong support for the government’s campaign against drug abuse under the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.” He stated that the growing menace of substance abuse poses a serious threat to society, particularly to the youth, and requires a collective and sustained response from all sections of society.
He emphasized that such initiatives are crucial in creating awareness, promoting rehabilitation, and discouraging the spread of narcotics. He further urged community leaders, civil society members, and families to actively participate in this campaign to safeguard the future of younger generations. Mr. Baba urged the religious cleric to play their role appeal the people to cooperate with police and civil administration to tackle this menace and talk about it in their sermons.
Firdous Baba reiterated that AIP stands committed to supporting all constructive measures aimed at eradicating drug abuse and ensuring a healthier, safer society. He also called for strengthening ground-level implementation and ensuring that awareness and rehabilitation programs reach the most vulnerable sections.
He appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and contribute positively towards nation-building.

انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ اس طرح کے اقدامات بیداری پیدا کرنے، بحالی کو فروغ دینے اور منشیات کے پھیلاؤ کی حوصلہ شکنی میں اہم ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کمیونٹی رہنماؤں، سول سوسائٹی کے اراکین، اور خاندانوں پر زور دیا کہ وہ نوجوان نسل کے مستقبل کو محفوظ بنانے کے لیے اس مہم میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیں۔ فردوس بابا نے مذہبی عالم پر زور دیا کہ وہ اپنا کردار ادا کریں اور لوگوں سے اپیل کریں کہ وہ اس لعنت سے نمٹنے کے لیے پولیس اور سول انتظامیہ کے ساتھ تعاون کریں اور اپنے خطبات میں اس کے بارے میں بات کریں۔
فردوس بابا نے اس بات کا اعادہ کیا کہ AIP تمام تعمیری اقدامات کی حمایت کے لیے پرعزم ہے جس کا مقصد منشیات کے استعمال کو ختم کرنا اور ایک صحت مند، محفوظ معاشرے کو یقینی بنانا ہے۔ انہوں نے زمینی سطح پر عمل درآمد کو مضبوط بنانے اور اس بات کو یقینی بنانے پر بھی زور دیا کہ بیداری اور بحالی کے پروگرام سب سے زیادہ کمزور طبقوں تک پہنچیں۔
انہوں نے نوجوانوں سے اپیل کی کہ وہ منشیات سے دور رہیں اور ملک کی تعمیر میں اپنا مثبت کردار ادا کریں۔
