*Er Rashid visits Dr Shahnawaz’s family, questions NC’s double standards
Srinagar Oct 23: Rashid today visited the family of Doctor Shahnawaz at his native place Naidgam to offer his condolence and solidarity with the family. On the occasion Er Rashid while condemning the incident demanded a thorough probe into the incident at Gagangeer Ganderbal which claimed 7 lives including Dr Shahnawaz.
He said “there is no place or justification for any sort of violence & we all are duty bound to respect the dignity of human lives. Every killing is painful & emphasizes the need to urge all the stakeholders to give up violence and find an amicable resolution to the poltical issues.
Er Rashid also questioned NC’s double standards over these killings and said “when similar killings took place in Jammu region, it was Farooq Abdullah who then claimed the talks with Pakistan could only bring peace and stop violence in J&K but now when Farooq sb is in power he is urging government of India not to have talks with Pakistan unless according to him Terrorism would not be stopped”.
Er Rashid appealed all stakeholders to return to talks. On the occasion Er Rashid urged masses to have a thorough introspection to find out that why everybody has let them down.
