Awantipora: 09 March 2021,Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Awantipora Police arrested drug peddler near MEI Pampore.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Yawer Rashid Sofi S/O Abdul Rashid Sofi resident of Namblabal Pampore and was arrested while he was moving in suspicious circumstances at MEI Crossing Pampore.
07 Kgs of contraband substances Poppy Straw was recovered from the possession of arrested person.
Case FIR Number 26/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Pampore.
