A National Lok Adalat was organized today on 12-12-2020 under the Chairmanship of Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Chairman District Legal Services Authority “Pr.District & Sessions Judge” Ganderbal
Four Benches were constituted’ 03 at District Court Complex Ganderbal and 01 at Munsiff Court Kangan.
Bench No. 01 was comprising of Pr. District & Sessions Judge Ganderbal “Mr. Mohammad Yousuf wani” and Miss Advocate Nuzhat. Bench No.02 was comprising of Sub-Judge/CJM Ganderbal “Mr. Farooq Ahmad Bhat” and Munsiff/JMIC Ganderbal “Mr. Sajad-Ur-Rehman”, Bench No. 3 was comprising of Secretary District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal “Mtr. Tabassum” and Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Ganderbal “Miss Fakhru Nisa” and Bench No. 04 was comprising of Munsiff/JMIC Kangan “Mr. Kartar Singh” & Advocate Manzoor Ul islam.
“Ms. Tabassum” Secretary District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal also Coordinated the National Lok Adalat at Ganderbal.
A total number of 152 Cases were taken up for their amicable settlement out of which 75 Cases were settled in the said National Lok adalat. Besides this Rs 2,50,000/- was awarded as compensation in MACT Cases, Rs 36,10,000/= as settlement amount in different cases and fine of Rs 9,200/=has also been collected.
