To ensure that essential items are not sold at exorbitant rates in this holy month of Muslims, Ramadan. In wake of corona threat the team also ensure that Covid guidelines and Sop’s are not violated by shopkeepers.
Ab Gani Wani while talking to kashmir crown said that this marketing checking aims at to ensure safety and security of our citizens keeping in view the upsurge Covid 19 and also to make sure that during this holy month no shopkeeper is exceeding rates in any essential commodities .
The team which was constituted on the directions of District Development Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad during checking sensitized and directed the shopkeepers to display the rate list of masks and other essential items at the conscipicious places in their shops and restrain from overcharging and warned them that strict action for overcharging and hoarding will be taken against the violators.
