Bandipora, Jan 05: District Development Commissioner Bandipora Dr, Owais Ahmad today provided his vehicle to a patient and shifted him to Srinagar Hospital in North kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official said that today evening, a 80-year-old man from a remote area of ​​the district suddenly suffered heart stroke following which he was shifted District hospital Bandipora.

He said that due to continuous bad weather and snowfall, normal vehicles are not able to run after which it was impossible to shifting the patient to Srinagar.

The official said that Immediately after DC Bandipora was informed and he provided his own 4×4 vehicle and shifted the patient to Srinagar Hospital for special treatment.

It is pertinent here to mention that Bandipora is in continuous snowfall since morning and administration Bandipora had an eagle’s eye over the situation.

Early this morning DC Bandipora takes stock of situation in the entire District. However several joint control rooms have been established to met any emergency if arising.
