Continuing it’s war against drug menace Kupwara Police arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered 1kg ‘Charas-Like’ Substance and 13 grams of brown sugar-like substance from his possession in Kralpora, Kupwara

Kupwara,March 09:Acting upon a specific input, Kupwara Police on Tuesday recovered 1 kg and 200 grams of “Charass-like substance” and 13 grams of brown sugar- like substance, in the presence of a Magistrate from the house of one Mohd Zaman Lone s/o Sumander Lone R/o Khargund, Kralpora .
In this regard one accused namely Tariq Ahmed Lone s/o Mohd Zaman Lone R/o Khargund, Kralpora a notorious drug peddler has been arrested and a case (FIR No.8/2021) under sections 8/20,21 NDPS has been registered in Police Station Kralpora .General Public of Kupwara is requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddling in their area so that the culprits must be brought to justice.
