Srinagar, Oct 9, : Students from Class 11th Friday staged a protest here in Srinagar demanding mass promotion.
Scores of students assembled in Press Enclave Srinagar, raising slogans in favour of mass promotion.
The protesting students told KNT that in view of the prevailing situation, students suffered a lot and their academic session was adversely affected.
They said mass promotion is the only solution to their sufferings. “We are suffering from mental agony and want Board of School Education to declare mass promotion for Class 11th,” the protesting students said.
They appealed BOSE to announce mass promotions and start a new session so that the students can be engaged in academic activities.
