Distributes PGS Certificate Among The Beneficiaries.
Srinagar, 27-11-2024: The chief secretary Jammu and Kashmir Shri Atal Dullo today inaugurated “Hot house” at Floriculture Development Scheme Lalmandi Srinagar, and visited different sections of the scheme.
Speaking on the occasion the chief secretary highlighted the importance of commercial cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants and directed officers to promote awareness and cultivation of different medicinal and aromatic plants among youth and farmers. The production of medicinal plants has a great scope in Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Atal Dullo added.
Further he distributed PGS certificates among the beneficiaries.
On the occasion Director Agriculture kashmir , Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal along with Floriculturist Kashmir Division, Dr. Anjum Rashid briefed the dignitary about the progress of different schemes and projects of Floriculture development scheme. He also detailed the chief secretary about the progress of ongoing diffrent projects under HADP.
