Baramulla, Feb 23 : Acting tough against the drug dealings, Baramulla Police have arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
On the directions of SSP Baramulla Shri Ab Qayoom and Under The Supervision Of SDPO Tangmarg Shri Hilal Khaliq A Police team of Police Station Kunzar laid a Naka and intercepted a person identified as Reyaz Ahmad Mir Son of Gh Ahmad Mir resident of Beewa Kunzer. During checking, officers were able to recover 700 grams of charas like Substance from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to Police Station where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, a case has been registered under relevant sections of law at P/S Kunzar and further investigation has been initiated.
