Srinagar, August 09: Hours after the attack on BJP leader in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, Four party workers announced to quit the party from the district.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that an in-charge office secretary Budgam among four workers dissociated themselves from the saffron party.
Letters issued by all announcing their resignation from the party attached here.
Pertinently, Suspected militants on Sunday morning fired upon a BJP activist Abdul Hamid Najar son of Jamal Najar resident of Moheindpora near railway station when he was on a morning walk, leaving him injured however he was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul has petitioned party’s national president J P Nadda and sought safe accommodation for the party leaders in every district of Kashmir and urged workers and leaders not to come out without security cover.
As per local news agency KNO, he spoke to the party president and has also written a letter to him seeking safe accommodations for party workers and leaders in each district of Kashmir.
