Not only Armed Police officials but their families too feel ashamed and demoralise when they see their own batchmates as their officers.

“We feel insulted as we need to salute and report to Inspectors who joined much later than us. We are also denied the increments and pay benefits that come with the promotion for such a long time. We had taken it up during the grievance meetings but nothing has moved on the ground so far,” an affected police constable said on request of anonymity.(Kashmir Crown)
