After videos about alleged corruption and malpractices in Associate Hospital GMC Baramulla went viral on social media, to keep credibility of prestigious institution GMC Baramulla and send a clear cut message to all stakeholdersl that civil society Baramulla won’t allow any corruption or anybody to use social media to malign the image and atmosphere of the prestigious health institute of Baramulla.
In this regard, a delegation of civil society Baramulla which includes various trade,social and religious organizations on Monday met Deptuy Commissioner Baramulla Dr. G.N Itoo regarding the viral videos on social media about GMC Baramulla since last couple of days uploaded by one person namely Siraj din Najar wherein he has alleged serious allegations on the functioning and management of GMC Baramulla. The members of the society urged upon worthy Deputy Commisioner Baramulla to constitute a special investigation team to probe the allegations levelled by Siraj Din Salaam against the functioning and management of GMC Baramulla wherein he has allaged corruption and malpractices so that truth will prevail.
In response to it , DC Baramulla has issued on spot orders of constituting a team of officers under ADC Baramulla Mohammed Ashan to inquire the matter and submit the inquiry report DC Baramulla within week.
The members of the society further urged DC to apprise the General public through print and electronic media regarding the inquiry report and whosoever is found guilty should be punished as per the law.
