Srinagar, Feb 17:Jammu and Kashmir reported 84 new covid-19 cases, 34 of them travellers, even as no death took place due the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday.
They said 11 cases were from Jammu Division and 73 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total case tally to 125547.
Providing district-wise details, the sources told GNS that Srinagar reported 42 cases, Baramulla 2, Budgam 9, Pulwama 6, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 9, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 0, Shopian 3, Jammu 11, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases were confirmed at CD, SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag’s diagnostic laboratories.
The CD cases include female (45) from Koolipora, male (42) from Alamgiri Bazar, female (39) from Ali Kadal, male (09) from Pampore, female (18) from Pinglish, male (36) and female (30) from Bellow, male (72) from Rawalpora Srinagar, two males (48, 32) and female (45) from Baghat, female (62) from Chanapora, male (21) from Baghat, female (50) from Solina, female (30) from Barzulla, male (46) and female (45) from Bemina, male (20) from Alochibagh, female (05) and two males (10, 40) from Baghi Mehtab, male (NA) from Balgarden Srg, male (NA) from Zakoora Srg, female (NA) from Khanyar Srg, male (NA) from Chadoora.
The SKIMS cases include male (60) from Dardpora Ch Sharief, male (30) from Soibugh, female (17) from Panzan Chadoora Budgam, female (54) from Rambagh, male (55) from Soura and male (25) from Umer Colony Srinagar.
The GMC Anantnag cases include male (25) from Manloo, male (60) from Pinjoora, female (15) from HPS/ Sugan.
Moreover, 56 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals, 22 from Jammu Division and 34 from Kashmir valley.
So far 122939 people have recovered—50912 in Jammu and 72027 in the valley. Also, there was no fresh death due to the virus reported during the last 24 hours. So far 1951 people of succumbed to the virus—725 in Jammu and 1226 in the Valley.
