Ganderbal, Dec 26: A 20-year-old scooty rider died on the spot in a road accident near Qamaria Ground in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal.
An official said that the scooty rider identified as Faizan Ahmad Para, son of Shamim Ahmad Para, a resident of Beehama was critically injured when a speedy tipper hit him near Qamaria Ground this afternoon.
He said that Faizan was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The official further said that police have taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation has been taken up.
