Srinagar, Jan 6:Jammu and Kashmir reported 126 fresh cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the overall tally to 122049, officials told GNS on Tuesday.
Among the fresh cases, they said, 73 cases were from Jammu Division while 55 from Kashmir Valley. There was no traveler among the fresh cases.
Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 23 cases, Baramulla 2, Budgam 3, Kupwara 3,
Pulwama 4, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 0, Shopian 2, Jammu 48, Udhampur 3, Rajouri 1, Doda 4, Kathua 6, Kishtwar 2, Samba 6, Poonch 2, Ramban 1and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases were confirmed at SKIMS Soura, CD hospital and GMC Anantnag’s diagnostic laboratory.
The SKIMS cases include a male (50), female (75) and male (52) from Saloora Ganderbal, male (35) from N Gabra Kupwara, male (43) from Rawathpora Kupwara, male (30) from Soura Srinagar, male (50) from Magam kupwara and female (30) from Wangath Ganderbal,
The GMC Anantnag cases include male (55) (NA) from Manloo, male (25) (NA) from Manloo, female (50) (NA) from Manloo, male (70) from Hirpora and female (30) from Pinjoora.
The CD cases include female (75) (NA) from Pattan Baramulla, male (39) (NA) from Handwara, male (30) (NA) from Tangmarg and female (NA) from Rainawari Srinagar.
Moreover, they said 264 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 144 from Jammu Division and 120 from Kashmir Division.
Meanwhile out of 122049 cases, 2459 are active positive, 117690 have recovered and 1900 have died—706 in Jammu division and 1194 in Kashmir Valley.
